MD^® 1184-M-B conformal coating is a flexible, high-performance, light-curable material for medical electronic applications. The product features Multi-Cure^®, a secondary heat cure capability for applications where shadow areas exist. The blue-black, low-gloss opaque color is ideal for concealing components on circuitry and is highly visible for inspection of coating coverage. It is also useful for light blocking as well as for tamper-proofing parts. 1184-M-B bonds well to CAP, polyurethane, polystyrene, steel, SAN substrates, and more. Additionally, the coating has a number of biocompatibility approvals including ISO 10993 Cytotoxicity and ISO 10993 Intracutaneous.
